Roethlisberger, 39, said "the time has come to ... hang up my cleats" in a video posted to social media Thursday morning. Roethlisberger spent his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers after he was selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft, winning Super Bowls after the 2005 and 2008 seasons and producing prolific statistics that place him in the top 10 all-time in many major passing categories.
