| Cagayan de Oro new Covid cases back to single digit Posted: 26 Feb 2022 08:09 AM PST THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has gone all the way down to a single digit after the city recorded only seven new cases, the City Health Office reported Saturday, February 26, 2022.This brought the number of Covid-19 cases in the city to 25,571.According to the City Health Office, three of the seven new cases were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), two were local index cases, one local case with link, and one local authorized person outside residence (Apor).Cagayan de Oro's active cases have also gone down to 774, of which 131 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 610 were outpatients, and 33 ROFs/LSIs.The city also registered 69 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 23,871.The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 926 in total. |
| Below 50 new Covid cases for 4th straight day Posted: 25 Feb 2022 06:23 AM PST THE City Health Office of Cagayan de Oro on Friday, February 25, 2022, reported for the fourth straight day below 50 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), with 19 infections added to the city's tally.The 19 new cases brought Cagayan de Oro's total caseload to 25,564, of which two were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), 11 were index cases, one was a local case with link, four were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors) and one mortality.The City Health Office also said that the active infections in the city went down to 836, 130 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 654 were outpatients, and 52 were returning overseas Filipinos/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs).The city registered 64 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 23,802.The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remained at 926. |
| 34 new Covid cases in Cagayan de Oro Posted: 24 Feb 2022 06:54 AM PST THE City Health Office reported on Thursday, February 24, a total of 34 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) that brought Cagayan de Oro's total caseload to 25,545.According to the City Health Office, of the 34 new cases, one was a returning overseas Filipino (ROF) and 33 were local transmissions.Among the 33 new local cases, 19 were local index cases, one was local case with link, two were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), three Apors with link, and four were persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).Cagayan de Oro also recorded four mortalities.Cagayan de Oro logged 882 active cases.Of the figure, 137 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 694 were outpatients and 51 ROFs/LSIs.The city also registered 140 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 23,738.The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was at 925. |
