Sports Alert: Tom Brady announces he is retiring from the NFL, ending days of uncertainty about his future

Brady, 44, who is considered by many the greatest quarterback in NFL history, announced Tuesday morning on social media that he is stepping away after 22 seasons with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
