Razor’s iconic scooter is back. But this time, it’s electric

The 2000s will never die, baby! How do I know? Because micro miniskirts made a comeback. And now, we have new Razor scooters to join them.

Remember Razors? They were those gleaming metallic scooters that hit with the turn of the millennium and went on to sell millions of units, spawning a whole category of imitators. You can actually still pick up a Razor for about $30. But now, the company has announced a new version. Starting at $550, it’s a full-blown electric scooter for grownups, and it boasts all of the charm of the original.

Read my exclusive interview with Razor’s design team to see how the product came to life here.
