World Alert: Ukraine’s prime minister is expected to visit Washington to attend World Bank meetings as war’s financial cost mounts

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and other senior Ukrainian officials will travel to D.C. to attend the spring financial meetings at the IMF and the World Bank. A World Bank official confirmed the trip on the condition of anonymity as the visit has not yet been publicly announced.
