Today is Tuesday, May 3, and we are celebrating several observances this week, including Small Business Week from May 1-7. National Small Business Week recognizes the critical contributions of America's entrepreneurs and small business owners.

This week we also mark Public Service Recognition Week (May 1-7)National Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-6), and National Teacher Appreciation Day (today, May 3).

Rounding out a busy week, we'll celebrate National Nurses Day (May 6), and National Nurses Week (May 6-12).

This week, we join the Small Business Administration in celebrating our nation's small businesses for National Small Business Week!
