State Rep. Mark Finchem is expected to clinch the GOP nomination for the open seat, the Associated Press projected. Backed by Trump, Finchem participated in the riot outside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and has appeared frequently as a guest on former Trump aide Stephen K. Bannon's "War Room" podcast.
