LI woman, 85, recalls what it was like to live on Liberty Island

Carol Tuzzolo, 85, of Mineola, shared with Newsday her memories of growing up on the 14.7-acre Liberty Island, where her father, James Bizzaro, worked first as a guard for Lady Liberty and later as her caretaker.
