NBC Select presents our 58 winners as part of our first-ever Best for Your Pet Awards. Our very opinionated pets and their human translators (also known as our editors) chose favorites in cleaning, pet care, toys and more. Banana Catnip Toy Award: Best Crate | Type: Collapsible   Why it won: Editorial director Lauren Swanson's cat Wonton loved this banana so much that she lost sleep. "He kept me up all night while playing with it," she says. "I kept hearing it get tossed up in the air and then a thud on the ground, followed by the scurrying of four little paws chasing it." $8  Shop now Newton Baby Dog Bed Award: Best Crate | Type: Collapsible   Why it won: Our dogs (and humans) found this bed very comfortable. "I'm 5'2" and I could easily curl up in the bed with [my 10-year-old, 100-pound yellow lab]," says Malin. "I've fallen asleep in there with him more than once." $180  Shop now Diggs Revol Dog Crate Award: Best Crate | Type: Collapsible   Why it won: It was easy for updates editor Mili Godio to assemble and take apart. Her 16-pound Havachon, Bella, had never used a crate but fell in love with this one immediately. She sleeps in here every day now. $375 Shop now Fukumaru Elevated Cat Bowl Award: Best Food Bowl | Type: Cat   Why it won: We found that the height of this bamboo and ceramic bowl set reduced floor messes. Experts also told us that elevated bowls can reduce strain on a pet's neck. Associate updates editor Zoe Malin believed it helped her cat Wanda with this. $26 Shop now  Iris Round Top Entry Litter Box Award: Best Litter Box | Type: Top Entry   Why it won: In short, it kept litter where it was supposed to be. We also liked that it's roomy with high sides and has a removable lid, so it's easy to scoop. $40  Shop now Tuft and Paw Really Great Cat Litter Award: Best Litter   Why it won: "When I poured the litter into my cat Wanda's litter box, it didn't create a dust cloud, unlike every other litter I've used," says Malin. "I was completely sold." The litter also dissolves in water, so is flushable, according to the brand. $29  Shop now Owala Pet Bowl Award: Best Food Bowl | Type: Dog   Why it won: Godio loved that the bowl, which is taller than others she's tried, kept her dog Bella — normally a messy eater — from spilling her kibble. $22  Shop now DOG Wee Cleaner Award: Best Crate | Type: Collapsible   Why it won: This spray got rid of urine stains on carpet in just a few minutes, says social commerce editor Sadhana Daruvuri.
