Hey there,
You're going to love this cacao and orange protein balls recipe from @jenniferhanway. Made with cacao, fresh orange juice and our Prime Protein, which makes them taste decadent whilst packing them full of health benefits.
Cacao is the raw unprocessed version of chocolate and considered to be an essential superfood. It contains theobromine, which can help to boost your metabolism and reduce cravings. It is believed that cacao helps your body convert fat to energy, therefore promoting the usage (and burning) of your body's own fat storage. The nutrients found in cacao may also help to improve blood flow and increase insulin sensitivity.
Orange is a great source of vitamin C, which is an important nutrient for optimal collagen production. Vitamin C also protects the skin against sun damage and aging for glowing skin and an overall reduction in inflammation.
