Small Business Pulse Survey Updates See Data Tables Based on responses collected May 17 through May 23, the Small Business Pulse Survey estimates that: -
10.1% of U.S. small businesses experienced an increase in the number of paid employees in the last week. For responses collected 4/12 – 4/18, this statistic was 8.5% -
35.8% of U.S. small businesses experienced domestic supplier delays in the last week. For responses collected 4/12 – 4/18, this statistic was 30.9% -
31.5% of U.S. Accommodation and Food Services small businesses have requested financial assistance from the Restaurant Revitalization Fund since December 27, 2020 -
40.0% of U.S. Wholesale Trade small businesses experienced foreign supplier delays. The national average for all sectors for this statistic is 14.5% -
The Expected Recovery Index, which summarizes the length of the expected recovery of businesses, increased to -0.48, indicating shorter expected recoveries |
