| Buprenorphine Regulations and Better Treatment of Addiction Posted: 07 Jun 2021 09:44 AM PDT We face a lot of obstacles on the road to ending the opioid crisis, and one of them revolves around access to evidence-based addiction treatments. The X-waiver, a waiver physicians must obtain to prescribe the partial opioid agonist Buprenorphine, is one of them. New regulations have eased the requirements for this waiver, hopefully paving the way to further improvements.
