NASA is testing electric air taxis with Joby Aviation

Posted: 01 Sep 2021 07:39 AM PDT

NASA kicked off test flights of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft — colloquially referred to as "flying cars" — with Joby Aviation, the Northern California company that recently went public. VanMoof just raised another $128 million in funding, after announcing a $40 million investment round in September 2020.
