More than 410,000 individuals vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro

THE cumulative number of individuals who have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro as of September 29, was 414,964, according to the report of the City Health Insurance Office.

Of the 414,964 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 247,553 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 167,411 were fully vaccinated.

According to the said report, among the 414,964 vaccinees, 318,821 were vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites and 96,143 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.

Of the 318,821 individuals vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites, 29,203 were frontline healthcare workers, 55,457 were senior citizens, 85,248 were persons with comorbidities, 134,596 were essential frontline workers, 11,010 were from the A5 priority group and 3,307 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.

Meanwhile, Cagayan de Oro has recorded 80 vaccinated deaths as of September 29.

Of the said figure, 41 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 19 with AstraZeneca, 11 with Janssen, six with Sputnik V, and three with Pfizer.

Cagayan de Oro now has a total of 827 Covid-19 deaths, in which the majority of them were unvaccinated at 90 percent or 747.

Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro now at 15,680

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City continued growing, reaching 15,680 after 212 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 47 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 19,499.

Of the 47 new local cases, 19 were local index cases, five were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 15 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), five were Apors with link, one person deprived of liberty (PDL), and two mortalities.

The City Health Office also noted a continuous decline of active cases in the city, logging in a cumulative number of 2,992 active cases.

Of figure, 569 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,406 were outpatients, and 17 were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 827.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,766, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,766 vaccinees, 2,969 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 897 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 313 with Pfizer, 280 with Sputnik V, 281 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 20 with Moderna.
