LG's gorgeous C1 OLED and Samsung's art-inspired QLED TV are on sale (again) You can also save on the latest GoPro and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 If you buy something from a Verge link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement. Welcome to the last weekend of January! As we enter February and begin the final run up to Super Bowl Sunday, we're starting to see serious price drops on a number of our favorite 4K TVs (even if the Big Game is not streaming in 4K). Many of these discounts match the prices we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with models like LG's C1 OLED and Samsung's The Frame falling to record lows.
Yet, there are also a number of other great deals happening this week. Some of the highlights include GoPro's current sale on its latest action cam, the GoPro Hero 10 Black, as well as those on the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, the Garmin Venu 2, and a range of popular Nintendo Switch titles.
Read on for more details on some of this week's top picks.
If you're looking for a TV for the Big Game, several retailers are currently discounting some of their most popular models. The latest version of the LG C1 OLED TV – which remains one of the best TVs for gaming – is just one example, with many stores discounting multiple configurations.
Right now, for example, BuyDig is selling the 55-inch C1 for $1,296.99 instead of $1,499.99 through its digital storefront on eBay, an all-time low. That's a savings of $203 on a 4K TV that features a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision HDR compatibility, as well as support for HDMI 2.1, HDR10, and FreeSync and G-Sync technologies. The retailer is also throwing in a $120 eBay credit that will be issued after delivery.
Newegg also is selling the TV for the same price, but with a $75 Visa gift card and a four-year protection plan. If you'd prefer another retailer, Amazon and B&H Photo are offering the same discount, too, but without those added incentives. $1,296.99 $1,499.99 14% off Prices taken at time of publishing. LG's C1 OLED starts with a 48-inch model, going up to 83 inches. All sizes of this OLED feature a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync and G-Sync support, and a fast processor.
It's nearly the end of January, which means the holidays are a month behind us. If you're already starting to crave another break, however, you can channel your inner wanderlust and start preparing for your next vacation with this GoPro Hero 10 Black deal. Typically $499.99, GoPro is currently selling the camera with a one-year GoPro subscription and a 32GB SanDisk microSD card for $349.98. The subscription typically runs $49.99 a year, and nets you unlimited cloud backups, additional editing tools, and discounts on various accessories, as well as other perks.
As for the camera itself, the Hero 10 can shoot crisp 5.3K video at 60fps and 4K at 120fps. It also packs GoPro's new GP2 processor, allowing for quicker photo and video capture than the last-gen model. Read our review. $349.98 $499.99 30% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The GoPro Hero 10 Black offers a new processor making it possible to shoot in 4K resolution at 120 frames per second.
If you're looking for a TV that's a bit more discrete, Samsung and Best Buy are selling the 65-inch configuration of Samsung's The Frame for $1,499.99 instead of $1,999.99, which is just $2 shy of its Black Friday price. Like the forthcoming, matte-screened model, the unique 4K TV pulls double duty as a 120Hz smart TV and a customizable piece of wall decor, one that can display a range of artwork when turned off. $1,499.99 $1,999.99 25% off Prices taken at time of publishing. Samsung's The Frame is a smart, 4K TV designed to directly blend in with your home's decor. The QLED panel can seamlessly switch from displaying whatever content it is you're watching to idle scenes of decorative art. The Frame also boasts HDR, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a motion sensor to ensure someone is there to see its ambient Art Mode.
For the dedicated few still resolved to get fit this year, Garmin's Venu 2 has plummeted back to $349.99 ($50 off) at Amazon, its lowest price ever. Like the recently announced Garmin Venu 2 Plus, the standard Venu 2 is ideal for those with active lifestyles. It boasts an impressive battery that can last up to 10 days and all the sensors you could need, including a barometric altimeter for elevation, a compass for positioning, and even a thermometer.
While it's a good smartwatch, it does lack traditional features like a mic and speaker, which prevents you from issuing voice commands and making voice calls. Still, if accurate metrics and marathon battery life matter more to you, the Venu 2 is worth considering. Read our review. $349.99 $399.99 13% off Prices taken at time of publishing. Garmin's Venu 2 is waterproof up to five atmospheres, offers a battery life of over 10 days, and boasts an array of sensors. However, it lacks a mic or a speaker.
We've got another great deal for Samsung lovers but, this time, on the company's new Galaxy Buds 2. Unlike their predecessor, these entry-level wireless earbuds include active noise cancellation while boasting an improved design and fit. They normally retail for $149.99, but Woot is selling them right now in a variety of colors for $99.99. That's their lowest price to date, and matches the discounts we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Be aware, however, that they come with a 90-day warranty from Woot as opposed to a one-year warranty direct from Samsung. Read our review. $99.99 $149.99 33% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The Galaxy Buds 2 are the new entry-level wireless earbuds from Samsung. Despite this, they're packed with enough features that people on a budget might be happy choosing these over the pricier Buds Pro.
