World Alert: Israeli military disciplines three officers in death of elderly Palestinian American

An investigation by the Israeli military concluded that the death of Omar Assad, 78, after being detained by troops earlier his month was a "grave and unfortunate event, resulting from a moral failure and poor decision-making on the part of the soldiers."
