Cagayan de Oro new Covid cases back to single digit Posted: 26 Feb 2022 08:09 AM PST THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has gone all the way down to a single digit after the city recorded only seven new cases, the City Health Office reported Saturday, February 26, 2022.This brought the number of Covid-19 cases in the city to 25,571.According to the City Health Office, three of the seven new cases were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), two were local index cases, one local case with link, and one local authorized person outside residence (Apor).Cagayan de Oro's active cases have also gone down to 774, of which 131 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 610 were outpatients, and 33 ROFs/LSIs.The city also registered 69 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 23,871.The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 926 in total.
