Paramedic from Huntington stabbed to death in Queens, NYPD says

Lt. Alison Russo-Elling, a 24-year veteran of the FDNY and a World Trade Center first responder, was stabbed multiple times while grabbing lunch, NYPD Chief James Essig said at a news conference Thursday evening at Mount Sinai Hospital in Queens.
