World Alert: Bolsonaro and Lula head to second round in Brazil’s presidential election

Leftist former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won a plurality of votes among the field of 11 candidates, the Superior Electoral Court said, but not enough to defeat right-wing incumbent Jair Bolsonaro in the first round Sunday.
