World Alert: Venezuela’s opposition votes to dissolve 'interim government,' effectively ending mandate of U.S.-backed leader Juan Guaidó

The United States and more than 50 other countries recognized Guaidó, the National Assembly president, as Venezuela's rightful leader in 2019 after President Nicolás Maduro claimed reelection in a vote widely viewed as fraudulent.
