Politics Alert: Supreme Court puts on hold Texas law that limits social media companies’ moderation efforts

The vote was 5-4 to lift an appeals court decision that had allowed the law to go into effect after a lower court had blocked it. The law would prohibit social media companies from removing a post from their sites based on the poster's political ideology. Voting to block the law were Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justices Stephen G. Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, Brett M.
