They are part of the upcoming sitcom Tols, wherein they are triplets. Miranda will play Uno, Raman as Third, and Salvador as Dos. Quinto leads the show as Barbara “Barbie” Macaspac, an entertainer in Japan. Betong Sumaya will be playing for the first time as a villain, with Arkin Del Rosario also added into the mix. The Kapamilya Network launched its Star Magic 30: Beyond the Stars that includes a mix of young and seasoned artists in Kim Chiu, Zanjoe Marudo, Andrea Brillantes, Carlo Aquino, Maymay Entrata, Charlie Dizon, Edward Barber, Donny Pangilinan, Alexa Ilacad, Belle Mariano, KD Estrada, Maris Racal, and Gigi De Lana. “Well, all the opportunities are open to our artists,” said Direk Lauren. He can’t deny that there were challenges in choosing which of their talents should join the tour. According to the Star Magic head, the pandemic gave a set of limitations regarding how they will approach this upcoming event. “The only limitation that we have right now is, of course, the schedule; some are really busier than the others, and some have commitments. Our protocols are harder right now; like our artists getting to lock in. That’s why some of the stars wouldn’t join the tour because of their commitments in Manila. “Unlike before wherein we could do one project, and do another, almost simultaneously. Now, our artists can only concentrate on one because of the strict protocols that we implement for our shows and our tapings,” he explained. Despite the struggles, Direk Lauren stressed that Star Magic will continue to “create opportunities to a mix of artists, not only the singers, the performers” who are “willing to take on the challenge of new opportunities and new challenges, we would give them the right tools as they conquer new heights.” Meanwhile, the chosen artists that will join the tour are meant to bring fresh faces to Kapamilya supporters in the US, with the guidance of seasoned talents. “Well, after two years, we want something new, we wanna see something new, so to speak. On Wednesday, July 6, TV5 confirmed that the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime will be airing soon on the Kapatid network. A Facebook post on News5’s page and a news report by MJ Marfori on Frontline Pilipinas confirmed that It’s Showtime and Lunch Out Loud will be teaming up this coming July to strengthen TV5’s noontime programming further. But what will happen to LOL now that It’s Showtime will most probably take over its current timeslot? Currently, LOL aired in the same timeslot as It’s Showtime. Although MJ Marfori gave no specific details, she said that the two shows would go back-to-back, giving their lunchtime viewers fun and happiness. Now, the question is, where will Lunch Out Loud sit once It’s Showtime goes onboard on TV5? There are only two options it’s either pre-programming or post-programming timeslot. Putting LOL in It’s Showtime’s pre-programming slot will test if they really built a following for the past years. After it’s launch in October 2020, LOL boost of being the 2nd most-watched noontime show after the country’s longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga!. LOL, for the longest time, has been bragging about that distinction since that position was previously held by It’s Showtime during the pre-ABS-CBN shutdown. "Awa naman ng Diyos, after Eat Bulaga, kami na. Ganoon na yung ratings," said one of its hosts Bayani Agbayani.
