The theme of the release is to make data.census.gov more intuitive and easier to navigate. This is accomplished by providing you streamlined navigation pathways, simplified views, fewer clicks, and more flexibility to control the layout of your screen.

For example, navigation improvements include new panels for "Filters" and "Results." This allows you to view these panels when you need them or collapse them when you want to see more of the table across your screen. We also show the table toolbar by default so you no longer have to navigate deeper within the site in order to access the toolbar functionality.

Filtering enhancements include a simplified view that shows one section of the filter panel at a time, allowing you to focus on the current step more easily. You will also see the most common types of geographies in new boxes at the top of the geography panel to help you get started.

Result list upgrades provide more options to browse long lists of results. This includes a new feature to page through up to 50 tables at a time, as well as another new option to view the list of table results across your full screen so you can easily scan them.

And finally, the mapping refinements provide access to the customization options all in one place for a consistent experience.
